Does it really work without internet? +
Yes — local automations (lights, locks, sensors, climate) keep working as long as the apartment's router is on. Cloud-only features from third-party brands (e.g., remote control over the internet, cloud video) pause until your connection comes back. Everything resumes automatically.
Will it damage the apartment? +
No drilling, no holes, no permanent fixtures. The hub plugs into a power outlet and your router. Smart bulbs, plugs, and battery sensors mount with adhesive or just sit on a shelf. We document everything we install so move-out is easy.
What if I move? +
Take it with you. The hub holds your config locally — your scenes, automations, and device pairings come with you to the next apartment. We'll do a free 30-minute remote walkthrough to set up the new router connection.
Do I have to keep paying after install? +
No. The Apartment AIO Setup is one-time. Optional Care Plan adds remote monitoring, monthly health checks, and 60 minutes of remote help per month — but it's optional, and you can cancel anytime.
